Dough In A Box

3184 Austell Rd SW
Doughnut - Marietta, GA
A tiny little doughnut shop, tucked into a tiny little storefront on a very busy road, Dough In A Box is a place you might have passed a hundred times before you ever noticed it. You are in luck, though, if you do notice it, pull into the parking lot, go inside and order some doughnuts. They are delicious! We tried a bit of each type they sell - yeast raised, cake, fritters - and each was tasty. I have to say, though, that the cake doughnuts are the BEST! I found them to be more moist than most of the cake

Sandwich - Smyrna , GA
Philly cheesesteaks; butterscotch krimpets, red birch beer and a water ice... it doesn't get any better! It's a northern thing. Finally a good cheesesteak in Atlanta!

Diner - Somerset , PA
This is a really neat diner. Built in the 1950's but in great condition. It's very close to a major ski resort in Somerset, PA. I remember my parents taking me here as a kid and a young adult! Great food and service!

QuikTrip

Shake - Atlanta, GA
I know this sounds crazy... but QT has some great milkshakes! You can choose how thick you want it to be. Choice of vanilla, strawberry or chocolate.  On a hot summer day... it's perfect! And you don’t have to wait in a long ice cream line!

Vermont Mustard Company

Breakfast - Atlanta, GA
I really enjoyed our morning breakfast. First time here, and we will definitely be back. Service was professional, and spot on. Just my simple egg, cheese, bacon bagel was so good. The bacon was the really thick kind, and the cheese was wonderful. Egg was tasty without overpowering. I could only eat half, it was huge. Took it home, and ate it for dinner, and it was still terrific. Atmosphere was quiet and serene. Much better than other places around town.

Cochon

Finedining - New Orleans, LA
I was very excited to finally get to Donald Link's newest restaurant in New Orleans. Unfortunately, I was just as disappointed when all was said and eaten. Upon entering, the environment could have been anywhere. In other words, it had no character. It was also extremely LOUD and conversation at a table for four was impossible! The food was good but it wasn't great and the service was about the same. All in all, there are far too many great restaurants in New Orleans to put up with mediocrity! Not highly re
