This small restaurant came as a recommendation from my sister-in-law, who said we just HAD to eat breakfast here after we moved to the Atlanta area. She lives in Washington state! Her recommendation was spot-on! The biscuits are different and yummy - the delicious apple sauce spread they give you with them is amazing - the omlettes are unique and tasty; it is hard to go wrong. I've eaten a lot of barbeque in my day and I have to say this is my favorite place. It might be that seating is more or less family style, it might be that you can order tons of food, but it is probably mostly because it is some of the best barbeque I've had. Now, I'm from Texas, so this is Texas-style barbeque, but The Salt Lick is what I'm thinking about when I'm thinking about barbeque. |

Seriously, the best cinnamon rolls in the world! They are crispy and flaky and cinnamon-y and just wonderful! I miss the Upper Crust Bakery and cinnamon rolls with coffee early on Saturday mornings.... |

Locally owned with lots of character, Baja is the best place in the Nashville area for a burrito or fish tacos. Moe's has nothing on this place. Go early to beat the rush, because it is as popular as it is delicious! |

This is a tiny place, but they make some of the best, most inventive doughnuts! We didn't have coffee when we were there, but supposedly the owner uses a french press for each cup of coffee (as busy as it was when we did go, he might not be doing that anymore) and that approach to flavor is evident in the doughnuts he makes. Definitely worth a trip and you can pre-order your doughnuts, then come pick them up! |

This is the first place I visit when I go to California. The menu is straightfoward, the food fresh and delicious. If you have never been to an In-N-Out, then you should put it on the list of places to try when you are out West! |
