What is better than eating a great meal at home?  Feeling at home when you are out to eat.  From the front of the house to the kitchen, Murphy's in Virginia Highland is a great destination.  There is not one objectionable item on the menu and daily specials are fantastic.  After a few business lunch meetings, the staff knew my name, greeted me with smiles and hugs.  Murphy's also has a Friend's of Murphy's benefits card.  I try to make it there once a week and always feel good

I was forewarned about the atmosphere of this restaurant, but was still blown away! The dining area is expansive, with incredibly tall ceilings, but each table seems private and cozy. The food was superb, by far the best Thai food I have ever had, and the service exceptional. I highly recommend Nan!

It's not much to look at (except for the 'gators in the front), but they serve up fresh seafood that is (mostly) found right along the coast where they are located! We got the Captain Crab's Special - a giant platter with crawfish, shrimp, crab, corn and potatoes. Simple, straightfoward and delicious!
