If you're looking for the stereotypical New England chowder shack for dinner after a day at the beach, Carrie's is it. Grab some take-out and sit on the picnic tables outside and enjoy the last of the day. Great chowder and clam cakes. Reasonably priced, too.  Located in Narragansett on Ocean Road just south of Scarborough beach. Note that they close for the season in late September and reopen in May.
