This little cafe is home to some of the best chili verdi I have ever tasted! You will be satisifed with any item you order.  It is worth a stop anytime you are in driving through the California State Capital.

I can't say more about this authentic mexican food except that it is by far the best I have ever tasted, Mexico or California. Whether you order the carnitas, carne asada, or the birria, you will not be dissapointed. Be prepared to come back often!   El Cabrito, 1604 W. First St., Santa Ana, (714) 543-8461.

DeLeon's Mexican Deli

http://www.deleonfoods.net/
Mexican -
This deli brings back fond memories of the fabulous Mexican food in Southern California. Homemade tortillas, fresh baked goods, and fabulous eats all around. I recommend the napalitos.  It is prepared with pork and cactus in a scrumtious verde sauce. They have another location downtown, but the tortilla factory is at the deli in North Spokane.  We enjoy it most for breakfast and lunch.

PETIT CHAT VILLAGE BAKERY

Bakery -
Located on Waikiki Rd in North Spokane this hidden treasure is worth the drive off the main highway. On any given morning, locals that frequent the spot can been seen eating scrumptious savories (my personal favorite!), soft scones, delicious pastries, and cinnamon rolls. An exciting additon within the past month are the bagels. In the evenings, you will find many lined up to purchase the fresh breads or rolls right out of the oven.  The biggest draw is the light nature of the treats for those wanting
