	A tiny little doughnut shop, tucked into a tiny little storefront on a very busy road, Dough In A Box is a place you might have passed a hundred times before you ever noticed it. You are in luck, though, if you do notice it, pull into the parking lot, go inside and order some doughnuts. They are delicious! We tried a bit of each type they sell - yeast raised, cake, fritters - and each was tasty. I have to say, though, that the cake doughnuts are the BEST! I found them to be more moist than most of the cake

	They make all their ice cream in-house, with unique, tasty ingredients. Somehow, their mint chocolate ice cream just tastes more minty. I definitely recommend trying a scoop to see what you think!

	It is a chain, so can be found in lots of different places, which is good because it is my son's all-time favorite place to go! They make a solidly good burrito - chicken, steak, ground beef, tofu or veggie - with delicious rice, beans, etc. They also have salads, nachos and quesadillas. There is plenty to choose from on the silly menu!

	Serenbe is such an interesting community: creative, artistic, elegant and rustic. The Blue Eyed Daisy is just perfect for the retail area. Their menu is limited, but the food is delicious! Try their handmade pimento cheese or a free baked cookie after a stroll around the community or a visit to the Farmer's Market. Just lovely.

	A great place to eat in Villa Rica, GA, you might ask?! Yes, actually. I don't know how it happened, but tucked away in Villa Rica's historic downtown is a fantastic, New Orleans inspired restaurant. Their menu includes such deliciousness as: Cajun Eggrolls, Garlic Crusted Oysters, Crab Cakes, and Gumbo - and that's before you get to the entrees!

	Best for a grown-ups only experience, the food is delicious and the portions are HUGE. The sangria comes in an enormous pitcher and is very tasty! The Camarones Alambres, Tampiquena, and Pollo Relleno are great places to start. Either while you are waiting for your table or after you've enjoyed your meal, head next door to peruse all the home decor items they import from Mexico.

	I've only been to the Westside location on Howell Mill Road, but I'm sure the food is just as delicious at the other three locations. Unique tacos are the stars of the menu, and the margaritas come in pitchers! If the line is long, head up to the bar and get a beverage to sip while you wait. Remember, the line is long because the food is good!

	This small restaurant came as a recommendation from my sister-in-law, who said we just HAD to eat breakfast here after we moved to the Atlanta area. She lives in Washington state! Her recommendation was spot-on! The biscuits are different and yummy - the delicious apple sauce spread they give you with them is amazing - the omlettes are unique and tasty; it is hard to go wrong. Enjoy!

The pizza is awesome and this is an unexpected gem in downtown Douglasville.

	There are multiple recommendations on this site for Torero's because the food really is that good. They take pride in serving a menu that is different from most of the Mexican restaurants in the area. You will not find cheese sauce slathered over everything, but you will find fresh mushroom salsa, delicious bean dip, amazing Pollo Chipotle and one of the best margaritas I've ever had!

	I struggled with the category for this restaurant: they serve great tacos AND hamburgers. Plus they have a great selection of beer and the atmosphere can't be beat (Six Feet Under, right across the street from Oakland Cemetery). Try these and have a great meal: Home Style Chips served with creamy dill dip; Lump Crab Cakes served atop fresh spinach and topped with corn, micro greens and mustard sauce; any of the tacos or a combo of all three; any of the po' boys; a burger; and the zucchini fries. YUM!

	This is a regional chain, but I love their Zensation salad. It comes with either fried or grilled chicken, greens, spicy coleslaw and an eggroll. The dressing is delicious. For a fast-food salad, this is an excellent choice.
